Gaelforce West Adventure Race - 22nd August
Gaelforce West Adventure Race is set to return for its fourth year of action, this August 22nd! With over 800 competitors in 2008, it has become the largest multi sport event in Europe in just three years with 2009 seeing 2500 competitors take part! So why not join in a world class event and experience the challenge of the race, the camaraderie, stunning scenery and fresh Atlantic air as we welcome you to Westport in glorious county Mayo, for Gaelforce West 2009.
The GF6 adventure challenge will again follow last year’s 65km course from Little Killary back to Westport, via a kayaking leg on Killary Harbour and an ascent and descent of the mighty Croagh Patrick. Further information can be obtained from www.gaelforcewest.ie
