Testimonial:-
An Appreciation: It was to my great fortune that I recently had the pleasure of attending one of Peters lectures regarding the publication of his latest work “Wicklow Landscapes”. The opportunity to see directly through the eyes of an artist is rarely afforded and Peters presentation that night was one such occasion. Modestly he stated that he has not the eloquence to vocalize his artistic vision but lets his pictures speak for themselves. This is far from the truth, the passion he spoke with underlined his sincere commitment to his subject matter and only helped further elevate the effect the photos made on the viewer.
Passion was the one thing that resonated throughout the presentation. Passion for the traditions of photography. Passion for the mediums, film, lens and camera. Passion for the landscape, the location and the feelings it conveyed. Passion for the image, making it perfect, making it unique, making it remarkable. Passion for his artistic vision, to his unique path and reluctance to bend to convention.
The whole evening made a very marked impression on the members of our Photographic Society and opened many eyes towards finding their own particular artistic vision, for this alone we are heart fully grateful.
